The United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) is a membership organization which aims to advance the skills and knowledge of theatre, entertainment and performing arts professionals involved in the areas of design, production and technology, and to generally promote their interests. We are a student chapter of this National organization. NAU's Student Chapter of USITT aims to achieve the goals of National USITT with our students: to advance the skills and knowledge of theatre, entertainment and performing arts students involved in the areas of design, production, and technology. We also work to raise money to help students attend the Nationwide Annual USITT Conference and Stage Expo, provide opportunities for paid work in theatre design and technology, strive to create educational and professional learning opportunities, and create a community for theatre design, production, and technology students at Northern Arizona University.
