Medical Directive originates from Arizona State University and has included Northern Arizona University, University of Arizona, and Grand Canyon University to form a statewide Medical Directive organization. Our goal is to provide pre-health students extensive opportunities throughout their undergraduate career as we have started mentorships, weekly Zoom sessions with health care professionals, and volunteer events. NAU's Medical Directive began recently in Spring 2021, but with the help of the surrounding universities, we hope to establish a foundation in providing pre-health students with opportunities that will benefit their education at NAU. Beginning in Fall 2021, an Officer Election will be held. As freshmen, it is encouraged to apply in a leadership role for leadership skills and graduate school admission. Also in the Fall, more volunteer and social events will take place in Flagstaff as well as preparing members to enter their undergraduate program, such as Nursing students for the BSN program by studying for the Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam.
