Sustainable Ambassadors is a program that was created a few years ago for ALL students; students in any academic field and from any background. This program, if completed by graduation, will also award students with a badge that they can put on their Linkedin account, resume, etc. When you enroll in the program, Sustainable Ambassadors will appear on BBLearn as a separate class (but don't worry, it has no impact on your academic standing). Then you must complete 5 steps to complete the program: complete the pre-quizzes and pre-test, attend one climate change crash course, attend one sustainability crash course, volunteer for 2 hours with any Green NAU or sustainability-related event, and attend the sustainability workshop. Students have the option to complete all of these steps at a pace which suits them best. Some students finish in one semester, whereas others take up to 3-4 years. The purpose of the program is to teach students more about climate change and sustainability, which is crucial in today's world.
