Northern Arizona University’s Elevation was founded in 2008, and has continued to grow throughout the years into the professional family of singers that it has today. The group currently strives for a range of 13-17 members of talented NAU students, with different majors and musical backgrounds. During the fall, the group has various pursuits, from competition to album-recording. In addition, it gives performances on campus to fellow students. Known for its community involvement outside of college, Elevation goes on tour during spring break to reach out to high school students and spread awareness of Northern Arizona University and collegiate a cappella. The group prides itself on the close friendships formed between the members, as well as the mutual passion every musician feels for a cappella music.
