As a team, we are dedicated to put in the time and effort to make everyone that comes out feel included while learning the incredible sport of rugby. We have practices every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm-8pm on the south fields, as well as extra optional practices and/or strength and skills workouts throughout the week.The Lady Sharks are a year round team that competes in tournaments and friendly matches in the fall, along with our regular union season in the spring. We encourage anyone to come out regardless of their skill level or experience in the rugby community. With that said, one thing to know is that rugby is a very social sport. While playing, we may beat on each other but still show sportsmanship throughout the match. However, afterwards the home team will host the away team at their sponsor location where everyone eats, drinks, sings and gets to know one another. This is one of the many reasons why rugby is a great sport that anyone can join.
